  7. JetCom is an easy-to-use, menu-driven communication package. JetCom allows the
  8. user to dial any system (UNIX/XENIX/DOS or bulletin boards) and interact with
  9. the guest system. A novice can install JetCom and be using it within TWO
  10. minutes. Files (including binary) can be transferred using the KERMIT protocol.
  11. Wild card file name expansion is allowed for both sending and receiving files.
  12. JetCom avoids the hassle of UUCP setup. Binary file transfer requires only
  13. KERMIT (not the entire JetCom package) on the guest system. The JetCom menu is
  14. simple yet effective. It is activated by a modifiable ``hotkey'', so it is
  15. present when you need it and stays out of your way when you don't. File
  16. transfer status and error packet retransmission status is displayed in realtime
  17. during transmission. JetCom has staying power across noisy lines. JetCom
  18. includes a modifiable dialing directory. JetCom requires a HAYES compatible
  19. modem. Supports X-Y-Z Modem, Kermit, and ASCII. Scripting language allows
  20. automatic file transfer.
